If something goes wrong
When a sale goes sideways
Most sales here are boring in the best way. When one isn't, we get involved. The money stays with us the whole time it's being sorted out, and the final call is ours to make — so nobody ends up chasing a stranger for a refund.
How it usually goes
You tell us
Open a dispute from the sale in your dashboard and tell us what's different from the listing.
The seller's money stops moving the second you do that — nothing is paid out while we look at it.
Both sides show their side
You each have 48 hours to add photos, logs, messages, anything relevant. We read the original listing alongside it.
You two talk
Often that's all it takes. You can work it out in the message thread, and if you agree on something, we close it on those terms.
We step in
Still stuck after 48 hours? The evidence is reviewed against the listing to land somewhere both of you can live with.
We decide
If that doesn't work, we make the call — refund in full, refund in part, or pay the seller.
That's the end of it. The money moves to match the decision and the sale closes.
Mediation
Before any ruling is made, the whole case is reviewed and both of you are heard. Most disputes end right here, because usually it's a misunderstanding rather than someone acting in bad faith.
- The drone's actual condition is compared against what the listing said.
- Both sides can propose a settlement — a full refund, a partial refund, or keeping the sale.
- If both agree, the dispute closes and escrow releases per the agreed terms.
If we have to decide
When talking it through doesn't get there, we make the call ourselves. That decision is final: the money moves accordingly and the sale closes. It's not a fun part of the job, but it beats leaving two people stuck arguing with each other.
Seller gets paid
The drone was what the listing said. Their 95% goes out.
Buyer gets refunded
It wasn't as described. The full amount goes back.
Somewhere in between
Part refund when the truth sits in the middle.
For Buyers
- Open a dispute before the seller has been paid.
- Send us photos, logs, messages — whatever shows the problem.
- If the drone wasn't what you were sold, you get your money back.
For Sellers
- The money is confirmed and held before you ship anything.
- An honest listing with good photos is your best defence, and it works.
- A buyer having second thoughts isn't grounds to keep your payout.
