How Escrow Works
Your money waits until you're happy
When you pay for a drone here, the seller doesn't get the money yet — it's held by our payment processor. It only goes to them after the drone arrives and you tell us it's what you paid for. That's the whole idea, and it works the same way for everyone.
How escrow works
You pay, we hold it
Your card is charged and the money sits with us. The seller can see the sale is real, but none of it has reached them.
The seller ships
Knowing the money is there, they pack the drone and add the carrier and tracking number so you can follow it.
You inspect it
Unbox it, check the specs, take it up. Nothing moves while you're doing that — the funds stay held until you confirm.
You confirm
Happy with it? Confirm receipt and our team releases the seller's share — 90% for free, 95% for Founding and Pro. That's the sale done.
Or you tell us something's off
Don't confirm — open a dispute instead. We keep the money and work it out with both of you.
Test It First
When the drone lands on your doorstep, take your time with it. Unbox it, check it against the listing, put it in the air. The seller's money is still held by our payment processor while you do. If everything's as described, you confirm receipt and our team releases their share — we keep 10% (5% for Founding and Pro).
If it's not right, tell us instead of confirming. We keep hold of the money while we sort it out with both of you. Nobody gets paid for a drone that wasn't what they said it was, and you're not left chasing a refund from someone who already has your cash.
For Buyers
- We hold your payment. The seller never gets it up front.
- Unbox it, check it, fly it — nothing moves until you do.
- If it doesn't match the listing, tell us — the money is still held.
For Sellers
- The money is real and already in hand before you pack a box.
- The moment the buyer confirms, your share goes out to your account — 90% for free members, 95% for Founding and Pro.
- The fee pays for the listing reviews, the escrow, and support.
